Tanmay Deep SharmaandGitHub 11deffdd5d feat: billing brl pix new users (#14617)
## Linear ticket
- https://linear.app/chatwoot/issue/CW-7253/billing-brl-pix-new-users

## Description

New accounts that sign up in Brazilian Portuguese are now billed in BRL
instead of USD. Their Stripe customer is created with a Brazil address
and Portuguese locale (so the Stripe portal offers Real prices and PIX),
and the AI credit top-up flow shows packages priced in the account's
billing currency. Currency support is config-driven, so adding another
currency later is a configuration change rather than a code change.

Sojan JoseandGitHub cd1a214d98 chore: Add marketing conversion tracking foundation (#14851)
## Summary

Adds the minimal foundation for Cloud marketing conversion tracking:

- locked internal installation config for conversion tracking
credentials and event mappings
- generic background job and service for uploading conversion events
from stored attribution
- focused coverage for Cloud gating, click-id selection, payload shape,
and optional conversion value

This PR intentionally does not wire signup or plan activation yet. The
next step is to validate the service from Rails console against existing
attributed accounts, then add the event hooks in a follow-up PR.

## Notes

The config remains locked and is surfaced under the Internal settings
group next to the existing Cloud plan configuration. The service assumes
the locked config is present and valid; config mistakes should surface
instead of being silently ignored.

Shivam MishraandGitHub e5107604a0 feat: account enrichment using context.dev [UPM-27] (#13978)
## Account branding enrichment during signup

This PR does the following

### Replace Firecrawl with Context.dev

Switches the enterprise brand lookup from Firecrawl to Context.dev for
better data quality, built-in caching, and automatic filtering of
free/disposable email providers. The service interface changes from URL
to email input to match Context.dev's email endpoint. OSS still falls
back to basic HTML scraping with a normalized output shape across both
paths.

The enterprise path intentionally does not fall back to HTML scraping on
failure — speed matters more than completeness. We want the user on the
editable onboarding form fast, and a slow fallback scrape is worse than
letting them fill it in.

Requires `CONTEXT_DEV_API_KEY` in Super Admin → App Config. Without it,
falls back to OSS HTML scraping.

### Add job to enrich account details

After account creation, `Account::BrandingEnrichmentJob` looks up the
signup email and pre-fills the account name, colors, logos, social
links, and industry into `custom_attributes['brand_info']`.

The job signals completion via a short-lived Redis key (30s TTL) + an
ActionCable broadcast (`account.enrichment_completed`). The Redis key
lets the frontend distinguish "still running" from "finished with no
results."

## Notion document

https://www.notion.so/chatwoot/Email-IMAP-Issue-30aa5f274c928062aa6bddc2e5877a63?showMoveTo=true&saveParent=true

## Description

PLAIN IMAP channels (non-OAuth) were silently retrying failed
authentication every minute, forever. When credentials are
wrong/expired, Net::IMAP::NoResponseError was caught and logged but
channel.authorization_error! was never called — so the Redis error
counter never incremented, reauthorization_required? was never set, and
admins were never notified. OAuth channels already had this handled
correctly via the Reauthorizable concern.
Additionally, Net::IMAP::ResponseParseError (raised by non-RFC-compliant
IMAP servers) was falling through to the StandardError catch-all,
flooding
Estimated impact before fix: ~70–75 broken IMAP inboxes generating
~700k–750k wasted Sidekiq jobs/week.

Vishnu NarayananandGitHub c884cdefde feat: add per-account daily rate limit for outbound emails (#13411)
Introduce a daily cap on non-channel outbound emails to prevent abuse.

Fixes https://linear.app/chatwoot/issue/CW-6418/ses-incident-jan-28

## Type of change

- [x] New feature (non-breaking change which adds functionality)
- [x] Breaking change (fix or feature that would cause existing
functionality not to work as expected)

## Summary
- Adds a Redis-based daily counter to rate limit outbound emails per
account, preventing email abuse
- Covers continuity emails (WebWidget/API), conversation transcripts,
and agent notifications
  - Email channel replies are excluded (paid feature, not abusable)
- Adds account suspension check in `ConversationReplyMailer` to block
already-queued emails for suspended accounts

  ## Limit Resolution Hierarchy
1. Per-account override (`account.limits['emails']`) — SuperAdmin
configurable
2. Enterprise plan-based (`ACCOUNT_EMAILS_PLAN_LIMITS`
InstallationConfig)
3. Global default (`ACCOUNT_EMAILS_LIMIT` InstallationConfig, default:
100)
  4. Fallback (`ChatwootApp.max_limit` — effectively unlimited)

  ## Enforcement Points
  | Path | Where | Behavior |
  |------|-------|----------|
| WebWidget/API continuity |
`SendEmailNotificationService#should_send_email_notification?` |
Silently skipped |
| Widget transcript | `Widget::ConversationsController#transcript` |
Returns 429 |
| API transcript | `ConversationsController#transcript` | Returns 429 |
| Agent notifications | `Notification::EmailNotificationService#perform`
| Silently skipped |
  | Email channel replies | Not rate limited | Paid feature |
| Suspended accounts | `ConversationReplyMailer` | Blocked at mailer

ca5e112a8c feat: TikTok channel (#12741)
fixes: #11834

This pull request introduces TikTok channel integration, enabling users
to connect and manage TikTok business accounts similarly to other
supported social channels. The changes span backend API endpoints,
authentication helpers, webhook handling, configuration, and frontend
components to support TikTok as a first-class channel.

**Key Notes**
* This integration is only compatible with TikTok Business Accounts
* Special permissions are required to access the TikTok [Business
Messaging
API](https://business-api.tiktok.com/portal/docs?id=1832183871604753).
* The Business Messaging API is region-restricted and is currently
unavailable to users in the EU.
* Only TEXT, IMAGE, and POST_SHARE messages are currently supported due
to limitations in the TikTok Business Messaging API
* A message will be successfully sent only if it contains text alone or
one image attachment. Messages with multiple attachments or those
combining text and attachments will fail and receive a descriptive error
status.
* Messages sent directly from the TikTok App will be synced into the
system
* Initiating a new conversation from the system is not permitted due to
limitations from the TikTok Business Messaging API.

**Backend: TikTok Channel Integration**

* Added `Api::V1::Accounts::Tiktok::AuthorizationsController` to handle
TikTok OAuth authorization initiation, returning the TikTok
authorization URL.
* Implemented `Tiktok::CallbacksController` to handle TikTok OAuth
callback, process authorization results, create or update channel/inbox,
and handle errors or denied scopes.
* Added `Webhooks::TiktokController` to receive and verify TikTok
webhook events, including signature verification and event dispatching.
* Created `Tiktok::IntegrationHelper` module for JWT-based token
generation and verification for secure TikTok OAuth state management.

**Configuration and Feature Flags**

* Added TikTok app credentials (`TIKTOK_APP_ID`, `TIKTOK_APP_SECRET`) to
allowed configs and app config, and registered TikTok as a feature in
the super admin features YAML.

# TikTok App Setup & Configuration
1. Grant access to the Business Messaging API
([Documentation](https://business-api.tiktok.com/portal/docs?id=1832184145137922))
2. Set the app authorization redirect URL to
`https://FRONTEND_URL/tiktok/callback`
3. Update the installation config with TikTok App ID and Secret
4. Create a Business Messaging Webhook configuration and set the
callback url to `https://FRONTEND_URL/webhooks/tiktok`
([Documentation](https://business-api.tiktok.com/portal/docs?id=1832190670631937))
. You can do this by calling
`Tiktok::AuthClient.update_webhook_callback` from rails console once you

420be64c45 chore: Automate SSL with Cloudflare (#12021)
This PR adds support for automatic SSL issuance using Cloudflare when a
custom domain is updated.

- Introduced a cloudflare configuration. If present, the system will
attempt to issue an SSL certificate via Cloudflare whenever a custom
domain is added or changed.
- SSL verification is handled using an HTTP challenge.
- The job will store the HTTP challenge response provided by Cloudflare
and serve it under the /.well-known/cf path automatically.

How to test:

- Create a Cloudflare zone for your domain and copy the Zone ID.
- Generate a Cloudflare API token with the required SSL certificate
permissions.
- Set the Fallback Origin under SSL -> Custom HostName to the Chatwoot
installation.
- Add or update a custom domain and verify that the SSL certificate is
automatically issued.

61d10044a0 feat: Whatsapp embedded signup (#11612)
## Description

This PR introduces WhatsApp Embedded Signup functionality, enabling
users to connect their WhatsApp Business accounts through Meta's
streamlined OAuth flow without manual webhook configuration. This
significantly improves the user experience by automating the entire
setup process.

**Key Features:**

- Embedded signup flow using Facebook SDK and Meta's OAuth 2.0
- Automatic webhook registration and phone number configuration
- Enhanced provider selection UI with card-based design
- Real-time progress tracking during signup process
- Comprehensive error handling and user feedback

## Required Configuration

The following environment variables must be configured by administrators
before this feature can be used:
Super Admin Configuration (via
super_admin/app_config?config=whatsapp_embedded)

- `WHATSAPP_APP_ID`: The Facebook App ID for WhatsApp Business API
integration
- `WHATSAPP_CONFIGURATION_ID`: The Configuration ID for WhatsApp
Embedded Signup flow (obtained from Meta Developer Portal)
- `WHATSAPP_APP_SECRET`: The App Secret for WhatsApp Embedded Signup
flow (required for token exchange)

## How Has This Been Tested?

#### Backend Tests (RSpec):

- Authentication validation for embedded signup endpoints
- Authorization code validation and error handling
- Missing business parameter validation
- Proper response format for configuration endpoint
- Unauthorized access prevention

#### Manual Test Cases:

- Complete embedded signup flow (happy path)
- Provider selection UI navigation
- Facebook authentication popup handling
- Error scenarios (cancelled auth, invalid business data, API failures)
- Configuration presence/absence behavior

not belong to any other account.
- This job also sends an email to the Chatwoot instance admin for
compliance purposes.
- The Chatwoot instance admin's email is configurable via the
`CHATWOOT_INSTANCE_ADMIN_EMAIL` global config.

d070743383 feat(ee): Add Captain features (#10665)
Migration Guide: https://chwt.app/v4/migration

This PR imports all the work related to Captain into the EE codebase. Captain represents the AI-based features in Chatwoot and includes the following key components:

- Assistant: An assistant has a persona, the product it would be trained on. At the moment, the data at which it is trained is from websites. Future integrations on Notion documents, PDF etc. This PR enables connecting an assistant to an inbox. The assistant would run the conversation every time before transferring it to an agent.
- Copilot for Agents: When an agent is supporting a customer, we will be able to offer additional help to lookup some data or fetch information from integrations etc via copilot.
- Conversation FAQ generator: When a conversation is resolved, the Captain integration would identify questions which were not in the knowledge base.
- CRM memory: Learns from the conversations and identifies important information about the contact.
